Learning outcome process, Students generalise their learning and integrate it with other areas of their lives outside school. This helps them learn concepts in a more focused and meaningful way.

ReplyDeleteNow a days State Board of Odisha is following pattern of NCERT. Both syllabus is focusing on relevant subject either in study material or in process of learning outcomes of students. The best thing I ever feel in my studying pattern of State board is only language basis that students easily make out what we want to learn them with a great interest.

DeleteThe learning outcomes of NCERT and my state I.e.,Odisha have known water tight compartment rather they have overlapping objectives on the basis of student assessment and learning outcomes. Developing self confidence and interest in teaching learning process is of utmost importance.

ReplyDeleteDear all the syllabus of any subject, class of our state as well as the learning outcomes in the subject, class in the NCERT document on elementary stage seems to be related because we all are going to follow the NEP all over the country. Whether language may be differ but same educational policies must be prevail in our country. Teaching and learning should be according to the learning outcomes by which a student can acquire knowledge and utilise it in his daily life. So l thanks NCERT officials for their initiative for equal educational platform for every state of India.

ReplyDeleteWe have a total student centered teaching process in our odisha board. We follow NCERT pattern and always emphasize on CCE which helps students in their all round development.
ReplyDeleteSyllabus and Subject link with each other.According to syllabus learnt subject then we needed Assessment. In older days is called 'Gurudakshina'.But now a days to do success required Assessment for quality Education performance.

ReplyDeleteIn primary U.P stage learning outcomes are fixed in all subjects in Odisha. It aims at holistic development of a learner not only in academic career,but also in every aspect of their life.The learning outcomes fixed by NCERT is totally related with it,because both of the learning outcomes generalize the same thing about learners.

Both are learners' centred and helps the learner to identify their strengths, weaknesses, hidden talent and creativity. The assessment is also based on CCE which helps for quality education and for all round development officer the students.
The syllabus of any subject of my state (Odisha) and the learning outcomes of these subjects according to the NCERT document on elementary stage are interconnected with each other. The learning outcomes set a target for the students to achieve the competencies when they go through a particular topic, which is more appropriate to the subjects.

ReplyDeleteSchool based Assessment ରେ Formative-1 ,Formative-2, summative-1,Formative-3, Formative-4, summative-2 ମାନ କରାଯାଇ ସେଥିରେ curricular , co-curricular, ସମାଜିକ ତଥା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଗତ ଗୁଣାବଳୀ ର grade ଲେଖାଯାଇ progress card ଦିଆଯାଏ। ଏ ସମସ୍ତ ନିରନ୍ତର ବ୍ୟାପକ ମୂଲ୍ୟାୟନ ଉପରେ ଆଧାରିତ ।

When we go through the comparison of NCERT and BSE Syllabus, the following points come out----
1)Both the syllabus are based on student centric learning.
2)The languages are simple and makes students eager to know more.
3)Both boost self learning and peer learning.
4)CCE is available in both.
5)The best in both syllabus is it relates our students past experiences / environment with the book knowledge. etc.
I think both work on the overall development of students and School Concerns.
Assessment is very important to know students holistic development which is based on syllabus and subjects.
ReplyDeleteThe teaching objectives and expected outcomes of the NCERT syllabus of primary and upper primary classes (class I to VIII) and the syllabus of our state Odisha are the same. So it seems that some books have been translated.
